GetBackTo is a product of Workhorse Solutions, LLC, a Wyoming Limited Liability Company ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide AI-powered phone answering and task extraction services to help service professionals capture important communications. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting the personal information you and your callers share with us.

Plain English
We process phone calls and messages for your business. That means we collect caller information, recordings, and transcripts. This policy explains what we do with that data, how long we keep it, and how you can control it.
1. What Information We Collect
Information You Provide (Business Owners)
When you sign up for GetBackTo, we collect:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, business name, phone number, and billing details
- Business Profile: Your business hours, services offered, industry type, and custom greeting scripts
- Legal Business Information: For SMS services, we collect your legal business name, EIN (or equivalent), and business address to comply with 10DLC registration requirements
Information We Collect Automatically (From Calls & Messages)
When someone contacts your GetBackTo number, we collect:
- Call Recordings: Audio recordings of phone conversations with our AI assistant
- Call Transcripts: Text versions of those conversations
- Caller Phone Numbers: The phone number of each person who calls or texts
- Call Metadata: Date, time, duration, and outcome of each call
- SMS Messages: Text message content from inbound messages to your GetBackTo number
- Task Data: Information extracted from calls and messages (e.g., "needs quote," "schedule callback," "emergency repair")
Recording disclosure: Our AI assistant announces at the start of each call: "You're speaking with an AI assistant. This call may be recorded." Callers can object to recording, in which case we continue the call without recording but log basic metadata (caller number, time, duration, AI-generated summary).
Technical Information
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address when you access your dashboard
- Cookies: We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our public website
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the Service: Answer calls, capture messages, extract tasks, and surface them to you
- Improve the Service: Train our AI to better understand caller intent and extract accurate tasks (we may use anonymized transcripts for this purpose)
- Send You Updates: Email digests of tasks, SMS alerts for urgent calls, service announcements
- Billing & Account Management: Process payments, send invoices, manage your subscription
- Comply with the Law: Respond to legal requests, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service
What We DON'T Do
- We don't sell your data. We will never sell caller information, recordings, transcripts, or any personal data to third parties.
- We don't use your data for ads. We don't show ads or use your data for advertising purposes.
- We don't share data without your permission (except with service providers who help us run GetBackTo — see Section 4).
3. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain different types of data for different periods:

4. Who We Share Your Information With
We share information with third-party services that help us operate GetBackTo:

All third-party services are required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we've contracted them for. They cannot sell or repurpose your data.
We do not share data with: marketing companies, data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else unless required by law or with your explicit permission.
5. How We Protect Your Information
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest
- Access Controls: Only authorized GetBackTo team members can access your data, and only when necessary for support or service improvement
- Audit Logs: We log access to sensitive data (recordings, transcripts) for security monitoring
- Regular Reviews: We review our security practices regularly and update them as needed
Honest about beta
GetBackTo is a new service. While we've implemented industry-standard security measures, no system is 100% secure. If we experience a data breach, we will notify you promptly and comply with all applicable breach notification laws.
6. Your Privacy Rights
For Everyone
- Access Your Data: Request a copy of the data we have about you
- Delete Your Data: Request deletion of your recordings, transcripts, tasks, or entire account
- Correct Your Data: Update incorrect account information in your dashboard settings
- Export Your Data: Download your task data, transcripts, or call logs
For California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and share
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the "sale" of your personal information (we don't sell data, so this doesn't apply)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights
For European Residents (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Object to processing of your data
- Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
How to exercise your rights: Email us at support@getbackto.app with your request. We'll respond within 30 days (or sooner if required by law).
7. Call Recording Consent
13 states require all-party consent to record phone calls: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
How GetBackTo complies:
- Our AI assistant announces at the start of every call: "You're speaking with an AI assistant. This call may be recorded."
- If a caller objects to being recorded, we continue the call without recording (but we do log basic metadata like caller number and time)
- If you (the business owner) are in an all-party consent state, the announcement covers your consent requirement
- If your caller is in an all-party consent state, the announcement gives them the opportunity to object
Your responsibility
You must comply with recording laws in your state and your caller's state. GetBackTo provides the disclosure mechanism, but you are responsible for understanding your legal obligations.
8. AI Disclosure & Limitations
Every call is answered by AI, not a human. We disclose this at the start of every call to comply with California SB 1001, Colorado's AI Act, and Washington state law.
AI is not perfect. Our AI assistant may misunderstand caller requests, extract incorrect task information, fail to handle complex or unusual questions, or miss important context or nuance.
You remain responsible for following up on tasks, verifying information, and making business decisions. GetBackTo is a communication capture tool, not a replacement for your judgment.
9. Children's Privacy
GetBackTo is a business tool, not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we've collected information from a child, contact us at privacy@getbackto.app and we'll delete it promptly.
10. International Users
GetBackTo is based in the United States. If you're outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using GetBackTo, you consent to this transfer.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as GetBackTo evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email and post the updated policy on our website. Continued use of GetBackTo after changes means you accept the updated policy.
